Base on the Announcement of Ho Chi Minh City Irrigation Management Company, issued on March 10^th 2011 about The plan for supplying water in Summer Autumn 2011:

1-      From April 1^st 2011 to April 15^th 2011 the Dau Tieng reservoir  will cut off the water supply for maintenance the structures. From April 15^th 2011 and will open water of  East main canal for supplying water in Summer Autumn 2011;

2-      The Committee’s communes and Water Using Organizations have to do the following methods:

-        Encourage strenuously the Farmers, Water Using Organizations to maintain the irrigation system in time of cutting off water supply

-        Concentrating to seed at the same time, on schedule, encourage to change crop pattern of dry land area using less water.

-        Saving water, strengthen to store water in fields, pools, field dranage canals for irrigating.

-        Preparing pump-engine to pump for preventing drought
